Fælleskonserveringen tilbyder sin assistance inden for kunstkonservering af malerikonservering, papirkonservering, fotografiske materialer og skulpturkonservering, samt konsulentbistand indenfor tilstandsmæssig gennemgang af værker og bygninger, klimaforhold, katastrofehjælp og kurertjenester.

Fælleskonserveringen, ”The Joint Conservation Association of Danish Museums ” is an institution, which undertakes the preservation of works of art.
The institution has existed for more than 25 years and enjoys an international reputation, the sphere covering primarily the non public art galleries and museums but also covering a wide range of both private persons and big establishments, such as castles, manor houses and churches.
The object of Fælleskonserveringen is to contribute to the preservation of works of art in the affiliated museums through conservation and restoration as well as research and supervision of art collections.
Fælleskonserveringen is a public utility association founded in 1978 by the Danish museums in order to strengthen the storage and maintenance of art objects, whether it be paintings, sculptures, art on paper or photographic materials etc.
The association consists of two laboratories situated on the premises of Kronborg Castle and at the ARoS Art Museum of Århus respectively, both working at national level.
Associated museums total 57 art galleries and museums, culture-historical museums, counties and districts and other private and public institutions in possession of art collections.
